memorable experiences in Jersey, England. But competition in the Olympic Games is not one of them. Yet for the next generation of players for international rugby, and this dream is about to become a reality.The importance of the inclusion of Rugby Sevens in the Olympic Games starting in 2016 in Rio de Janeiro, can not be overstated – it is huge.
Rugby is often accused of being a closed shop, “gentleman’s” club, and regardless of the decision to award the 2019 World Cup in Japan, the game was always well within the eight countries, the main play. It took a great deal of effort to Italy and Argentina recognized properly, and allowed to compete in the six countries and three-Nations, respectively.
